Biography

The Paladins Premier League was the obvious destination for Sean “rockmonkey” Boswell after his dominant performance at the PPL Fall Finals LAN in November 2017. This damage class specialist, who is deadly with a bow, got his start in the Paladins Global Series as a part of Purity’s roster. But after he absolutely destroyed the competition and helped his teammates knock down a top-seeded PPL team during the Fall Finals LAN, high-level organizations recognized rockmonkey’s talent and he was immediately rocketed to stardom.

Heading into Season 2 of the PPL, rockmonkey will be a core part of Team Envy’s roster, where he’ll be joining his former Purity teammate RuBBu. Most notably for Team Envy, rockmonkey’s 1v1 ability is off the charts -- and he’s equipped to flex onto hitscan options such as Kinessa or Talus to help relieve Envy of draft rigidity. As one of the more mechanically skilled players in the scene, rockmonkey is bringing a level of talent and lethality to his squad that every team in North America respects.

His meteoric rise from the PGS to the PPL has left some opponents questioning whether or not he can dominate games at this level, but rockmonkey will be quick to prove them otherwise. Don’t expect soft-spoken statements from his DPS/flex player; expect loud, game-changing moments whenever he has a chance to make them. One thing’s for sure, though -- after a disappointing finish for Team Envy in Season 1, there’s a lot of hope riding on rockmonkey’s ability to propel this team to the top of North America.
